Baptismal Promises

During a Baptism we make promises, for ourselves and for the one being baptized. We are quite thankful that the promises we make do not include being reverent in church, quiet when a priest or deacon is speaking or still during prayer. Bryce would certainly be excommunicated were that the case! Our little rock star in his 'dress up babing suit' took advantage of all the eyes on him during this occasion. Oh- the 'babing suit'? See, the only suit Bryce knew of until last week was his bathing suit. I explained that he was going to wear a dress up suit like Daddy. Imagine the visuals running through my head as Bryce exclaimed all week about Daddy and Bryce in their dress up babing suits during the baptism! David and Mike not only dressed up, but wore their baptismal ties from 'Poppa'- printed with pink feet for their sweet little girls. :)
