July at the Beach
Well, since I am two months late on this post, there is no reason wax poetic about our time. It's about throwing the pictures up there and begging forgivemess!
We had another perfect week at the beach. Our rainy day was spent at the 'Christmas in July' event at the children's museum, building houses and sugar cookies. Mike's little proteges did him proud!
We were joined by the Thompsons and the cousins fell into step in no time, as always. What an amazing sight to have these little feet pounding the same sand we did so many years ago. The best is that they enjoy the same simple pleasures we did - Using daddy as a boat/ boogie board/ launch pad, digging huge holes and building droopy castles, boogie boarding, playing tag and frisbee and kadima. The timeless treasure of Hilton Head continues to fuel family togetherness and fun. We were thrilled to have Patty join us and were able to put the new kitchen to great use when we created a delicious beach feast, and she stepped right in the middle of things, undaunted by the 'Howells girls'. What a week!
